American Muslims continue to face civil rights violations, lack of representation in policy decisions, and barriers to full participation in society—from workplace discrimination and school inequities to racial profiling and hate crimes. Without strong advocacy, these challenges persist, leaving our community vulnerable and unheard.
Advocacy, Education & Legal Support
CAIR-CT works to protect civil rights, empower civic engagement, and promote inclusivity by:
Defending rights through free legal aid and policy advocacy
Mobilizing communities to engage with lawmakers and fight for representation
Promoting inclusivity in schools by advocating for Eid-ul-Fitr as a recognized holiday
Fostering awareness through educational workshops and rapid response to discrimination
