Civic Engagement
Civic engagement is the bedrock of civil rights work. CAIR-Philadelphia facilitates opportunities for our communities to engage with local, state, and federal officials to influence public policy by meeting with elected representatives to advocate for legislation that aims to preserve our civil liberties and promote social justice for all.
CAIR-Philadelphia partners with and brings together the diverse communities that make up the Muslim family of the Greater Delaware Valley to create a better future for all. This work ensures that the voices and concerns of our communities are heard, leading to a more just and equitable society. In this process, we work with our allies from within and outside the broader Muslim and civic landscape.
